Hotel Services are currently looking to recruit individuals who would like to join a busy and committed department in providing portering services to cover all wards and departments. The successful candidates will play an integral role within the organisation.
We are seeking to appoint a portering supervisor to manage the on-site porters team at Bronglais Hospital Aberystwyth.
The Porter Supervisor will be responsible for on-site portering, front hall reception, security, mail, and waste management.
Main duties of the job
The role will include rota planning, staff monitoring, and supporting departmental performance targets in mandatory training and personal development.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise tasks, and communicate effectively with the team to ensure services are maintained across the site.
A flexible approach to working hours is required. Hours of work average 37.5 hours per week over Monday to Friday with the expectation to cover weekends if needed. It may also be necessary to assist the team out of hours during busy periods.
