Job summary We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our team at Basildon Accident and Emergency department This role includes helping with the portering services within the Department transferring to other areas in the hospital and providing support where needed including transferring to imaging and other internal areas. You will be required to complete the care certificate if not already completed. You will be providing health care assistant duties including completing clinical observations, patient hygiene and toileting needs, along with a variety of other area specific duties. We support our staff and ensure that all staff receive a study day once every 5 weeks for staff development you will be supported to complete your care certificate and given opportunities for further development Main duties of the job Your main responsibilities will include: recording patient Observations, recording ECGs, basic nursing care patient hygiene and toileting needs, and transferring of patients to and from X-ray, CT and Ward areas - which involves pushing trolleys, along with a variety of other area specific duties.
