Role: Locum Pharmacist Banding: Band 6 Location: Isleworth Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 months Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00AM – 17:30PM Rate: £23 - £29 per hour About the role: The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Pharmacist to join our team in Isleworth. This role is crucial in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients. You will be responsible for checking and screening prescriptions, ensuring they meet clinical standards, and supporting the overall pharmacy operations within the hospital wards. Your recent experience in a hospital setting and familiarity with the EPMA system will be essential in delivering effective patient care. Key Responsibilities: You will ensure accuracy and compliance with clinical guidelines by competently checking and screening prescriptions. You will demonstrate your ability to manage and support patient care in a hospital setting through your recent ward pharmacist experience. You will bring broad knowledge and experience in various ward settings through your general ward pharmacy experience. You will proficiently use the Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration (EPMA) system. Requirements Experience/Knowledge: Up to date GPhC registration. Master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm). Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred. Proven experience as a ward pharmacist in a hospital. Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Time management and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge.
