Technical Data Controller Salary: Circa £42,000 depending on experience Location: Stevenage (Relocation package may be available for this role) Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. The Opportunity: We are seeking a talented engineering professional with an eye for detail and experience in working with and controlling product data. You will work within a close and motivated team, providing direct support to key business products. This role offers the opportunity to further develop your configuration management skills and work towards professional accreditation. What We're Looking For: A background in Configuration Control or Technical Data Management within Defence, Aerospace, or similar industries. Proven experience in interpreting technical data and Bills of Materials for large and complex product assemblies. Familiarity with the principles of Configuration Management, including preparing and handling Configuration Management documentation to provide governance and control of project activities. Experience in managing and implementing engineering design changes across a multi-stakeholder environment, including the preparation and presentation of changes within change control meetings. Ability to support audits on suppliers, ensuring Configuration Management processes are upheld throughout the supply chain. Strong team working and communication skills, enabling close and collaborative working with peers, as well as functional and project stakeholders. Attention to detail and integrity when controlling engineering data, drawings, and CAD models. Experience with Product Lifecycle Management tools such as PTC Windchill is desirable but not essential.
