The Role:
Your role as an SEN Teaching Assistant will require you to work both inside and outside of the classroom. You will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to a child in this role. Furthermore, you will also be working with other children who may have similar needs. You will be responsible for supporting smaller groups of children who are lower ability and require additional support in their academic studies. You may also be required to provide interventions outside the classroom. Assist your teacher with daily classroom tasks and participate in classroom activities with guidance from your teacher. To be considered for this position, it would be ideal if the candidate had experience working with children with special needs, exhibited passion, drive, and commitment, and was interested in working with children with special needs.
