Being a Volunteering and Community Officer is all about connecting with people. It’s about helping everyone to get involved and feel welcome at National Trust places. Working with volunteers and local communities, you’ll be making a vital contribution to the Trust’s cause of protecting and caring for places so that people and nature can thrive, end unequal access and inspire millions to support us – now and into the future.
This role may involve managing volunteers, occasional travelling between portfolio properties and may include occasional weekend and evening work.
Hours: 15 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
What it's like to work here
Reporting to the Volunteering & Community Manager, you'll be working to support a team of 25 volunteer team leaders and over 600 volunteers across the Nottinghamshire portfolio.
Across the Nottinghamshire portfolio, we care for four historic and unique places; Clumber Park and Mr Straw’s House, located in Worksop, The Workhouse & Infirmary, located in Southwell and Colston Bassett Market Cross, situated outside of Nottingham.
