Job Summary: We're looking for someone to lead our fleet and maintenance teams, working collaboratively to produce budgets, manage relationships, and drive innovation in a national role based in the Midlands.
* Leading teams to produce fleet replacement and maintenance budgets.
* Managing relationships with stakeholders, including vehicle suppliers.
* Coaching and empowering team members to reach their full potential.
* Developing talent and maintaining employee engagement.
* Managing fleet assets and influencing the wider business to accurately manage input to all Fleet systems.
* Delivering efficient, safe, and cost-effective solutions to support business profitability and growth.
* Driving innovation and change to deliver our transformation path.
* Providing clear and accurate reporting of business performance.
Requirements:
* Senior fleet management experience.
* Commercial management of own P&L within fleet/operational environment.
* Proven skills in managing in-house workshops and external maintenance suppliers.
* Expert knowledge of road transport legislation and fleet-related health and safety legislation.
* Strong technical background.
* Good business acumen with the ability to communicate at all levels.
* Experience within the transport sector.
* Waste and utilities background is advantageous.
