About you: You have a degree in engineering, construction or equivalent suitable qualification. You have relevant experience within project management or project control environment. We are currently looking for a project based Risk Manager to be based in Cardiff, Wales working in the transportation sector. The role will be supporting a major port infrastructure project. To support the risk, opportunity, trend and change committee (ROTC) process. Your responsibilities will include: Adhering to risk and project control standards across the project. Overseeing and ensuring risks and mitigation plans are updated to an agreed timeframe. Supporting cost control, risk and change management teams where appropriate. Supporting the production of monthly reports through the provision of intelligent information and analysis. Producing analysis of trends, generating performance indicators and providing feedback on areas of risk and opportunities. Scheduling risk analysis including those schedules provided by contractors and suppliers. Supporting the estimating process. Establishing and foster working relationships with all appropriate stakeholders pursuant to the discharging of your responsibilities or in aid of theirs. Liaising with other sections and practising team values. Providing ad hoc support to the wider project controls function to develop the capability of the team using knowledge from wider experience.
