Job Title: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Weybridge, Surrey
Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
About the Role:
At Teaching Personnel, we are seeking dedicated Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistants to provide essential support for students with special educational needs (SEN) at a number of local specialist provisions. This role is perfect for someone who values consistency, is committed to making a lasting impact, and is looking for a rewarding, full-time position. As an integral part of the team, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that our students receive the continuous support they need to succeed in their learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consistent, day-to-day support to students with a variety of special educational needs, ensuring that their individual learning requirements are met
Assist in the delivery of tailored educational plans and adapt resources as needed to help students achieve their learning goals
Support students throughout the day, both in the classroom and during break times, to foster a positive and inclusive environment
Develop strong relationships with students, offering encouragement and guidance to help them build confidence and resilience
Collaborate closely with teaching staff to track student progress, address any challenges, and adjust approaches where necessary
Help manage classroom behaviour and contribute to a safe, nurturing learning space
About You:
A strong commitment to working full-time and providing ongoing, consistent support to students
Previous experience in an SEN setting is beneficial but not essential; we are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the role
A patient, compassionate, and reliable approach, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of students
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both staff and students
A proactive mindset, capable of adapting to the needs of individual students and the classroom environment
Willingness to work closely with students on their emotional, social, and academic development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
