Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for a PE teacher to join a lovely secondary school in the Avonmouth area. This position is available from January and will run until the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension!
Role Responsibilities:
* Inspire a love for physical activity and healthy lifestyles by delivering outstanding PE lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Develop and deliver lessons tailored to the diverse range of student needs and abilities, employing various teaching strategies.
* Encourage active participation and foster positive attitudes toward physical education and personal well-being.
* Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback, supporting their progress and development.
* Facilitate effective communication with parents/guardians through parent-teacher meetings and school events.
Candidate Requirements:
* Preferred possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or comparable teaching qualifications; experienced Sports Coaches will also be considered.
* Specialization or significant experience in teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Strong understanding of PE, coupled with a passion for promoting physical well-being and personal development.
* Exceptional classroom management skills, creating a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.
Pay:
Competitive daily remuneration aligned with the pay scale, negotiable based on qualifications and experience. This would be a full duties role where you will be paid to scale from day 1 on a PAYE basis.
