Description Please note this is a 12-month FTC. This role can be based in either London OR Glasgow. At Heathrow we continually invest in our infrastructure to enhance and maintain it, totalling £500 million annually. The Finance Analyst – Asset, will work with stakeholders across the organisation, as well as our supply chain partners to provide detailed analysis within the Capital and Fixed Asset accounting area to support the creation of assets on the fixed asset register at the completion of each of these capital projects. Responsibilities Analysing the transactions associated with each project to establish the nature of assets delivered and for each asset, determine the appropriate cost and classification with reference to our Fixed Asset accounting policy. Assessing project details for any costs which are not capital in nature and should be expensed. Prioritising and planning workload based on forecast volume and nature of projects reaching completion. Building relationships within PMO, Project Control, Project Management and Capital Portfolio Business Partnering teams in Heathrow. Developing an understanding of the project lifecycle and portfolio as a solid basis for subsequent analysis and insight. Qualifications Previous experience working in a Capital-intensive environment Highly numerate with strong analytical skills Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate effectively at all levels of stakeholders both written and verbally, including ability to influence and persuade others Strong organisational skills, with ability to plan, prioritise and work to deadlines Ideally, you’ll also: Be a qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or other if applicable) Have Oracle projects and fixed assets knowledge and experience LI-Hybrid
