Search are delighted to partner with a SME company based near Coventry to recruit an Accounts Assistant with good experience in Payroll.
The role will join a tenured finance team and report to the senior leadership team. This business is part of a large group and requires an Accounts Assistant with payroll and credit control experience.
The suitable candidate will have good general accounting skills (must have QuickBooks experience) from a fast-paced background and strong attention to detail.
Other aspects include:
1. Transactional purchase ledger invoicing
2. Processing payments, BACS and transfers
3. Dealing with suppliers and queries
4. Month-end closure and reconciliations
5. Journals, prepayments and accruals
6. Reporting
7. Payroll
8. Credit Control
The successful candidate will need to:
1. Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy
2. Good experience reporting to senior stakeholders
3. Be able to establish good working relationships in a cross-functional environment with excellent communication skills
4. Experience using QuickBooks accounting software
5. Have a positive attitude, flexible approach, and a passion to learn
6. Want to grow and develop and join a fast-paced environment
7. Must be able to come into the office
8. Flexibility on start and finish times is offered
