Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant for day to day work across Key Stage One in our Manchester North Primary branch across primary schools in Bury. The demand for day to day support staff is ever increasing and at Teaching Personnel we pride ourselves on delivering supply staff of the highest quality to schools in the area, should they require them.
Being a day to day Teaching Assistant for Teaching Personnel gives you the opportunity for flexibility within your work life. You have the freedom to decide which schools you work in throughout the week in an area that suits you best. With schools wanting consistency, Teaching Assistants who perform well and are given positive feedback are often recalled and this can then turn into long term or a permanent position.
Within your role as a Teaching Assistant you will be required to work with pupils across KS1 in small groups, or on a 1:1 basis, during the teaching of core and foundation subjects, i.e. maths and English. You will be required to track pupil progress and demonstrate your knowledge of this progress via feedback to the class teacher, and support them in creating a safe and supportive learning environment in which children have the capacity to thrive.
There are a number of flexible roles available, term-time only until the end of the academic year (July 2025) and relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 education-based qualification) are desired but not essential.
If you think this is the role for you, please apply and attach your CV.
We look forward to hearing from you!
