Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (x3)

Our client, a dedicated SEN school in Dorset, is looking for three enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to support children with a range of special educational needs, providing them with the guidance and encouragement they need to thrive in their learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with a variety of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
Assist in delivering tailored learning activities under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO.
Provide 1:1 and small group support to help students engage with their learning.
Use positive behaviour strategies to support emotional and social development.
Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Support students with personal care needs where necessary.
Person Specification:
Previous experience working with SEN students in a school or care setting is desirable.
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting children with additional needs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support are advantageous but not essential.
