The Role:
Joining a structured engineering team, the successful candidate will report directly into the Site Services Manager. The ideal candidate will be a professional and astute individual with proven experience and an electrical bias. The individual will be multi-skilled in performing general repair and maintenance work that similar professionals do not cover.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
1. Completing statutory servicing & inspections and associated documentation
2. Deputy Responsible Person – Electrical, Legionella & Fire Systems
3. Electrical installations, breakdowns, repairs & maintenance
4. Building repairs and maintenance, may include joinery and plumbing
5. Daily boiler and CHP checks and maintenance
6. LOLOR – Lift checks & maintenance
7. Legionella checks, maintenance and repairs
8. Daily effluent plant checks and maintenance
9. Daily air compressors checks and maintenance
10. General installations, breakdowns, and site maintenance
11. Support the day-to-day engineering function where required
12. Working together with the manufacturing function
13. Sprinkler system checks and maintenance
14. Continuous improvement of engineering ways of working to ensure improved equipment performance
15. Support the continuation of implementation of IWS (Intersnack Working System)
16. Support preparation for technical audits for food safety and health, safety, and environment
17. Effluent Plant Water services, Compressor Services, Boiler Services, Canteen areas and associated amenities
18. Manage utilities company’s (This list is not exhaustive)
Candidate Requirements:
1. Apprenticeship qualified (Proven Trade Background Ideal)
2. C&G Level 3 – BS2365
3. BS7671 – 18th edition - is a must
4. BS2391 – Inspection & testing
5. Able to follow written and verbal instructions
6. Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and convert measurements
7. Strong organisational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
8. Can reliably work alone and as part of a team
9. Able to communicate well
10. Friendly with good interpersonal skills
11. Demonstrable experience as a qualified Electrical engineer
12. Multi-skilled in other trades
13. Complete compliance Audits
