Clients are the leading brands in this sector Business Development Manager 40-50k basic + 15k OTE + Car + Excellent Benefits South London Summary: We are working with a market leading multinational catering supplies company looking to hire a Business Development Manager. This is an opportunity to join an expanding sales team in a global company with 16000 employees and over £12 billion in annual revenue. In this field based role, you will be networking within multinational hotel chains and the NHS, plus sourcing your own new clients in the hospitality market. You will be meeting clients on a daily basis to win new business at locations across South London and the South East, utilising your networking skills to grow revenue streams and meet contractual SLA's. Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Ensure regular calls are made on existing accounts
Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
Manage existing key accounts in region, both independent and National hospitality accounts and grow in line with budget expectations
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years field sales experience and have a proven track record of meeting new business targets. You will be required to attend client meetings across your territory, so a driving license is essential. You should also be able to work independently and be confident in building relationships with clients.
