Are you an accomplished Care Home Manager ready to lead with compassion and dedication?
We are seeking an experienced manager to uphold our commitment to exceptional care, fostering a warm and supportive environment for our residents and staff. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a well-regarded, 16-bed nursing home where community and care come first.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of providing high-quality care and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the home's operations, including staff management, resident care, and financial management. You will work closely with our dedicated team to ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Resident Care: Oversee admissions and develop personalised care plans, ensuring all resident needs are met, from daily activities to dietary and psychological well-being.
2. Team Leadership: Manage and support a dedicated team of 38 staff, including a Clinical Lead and Senior Carers, ensuring a positive workplace culture.
3. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all regulatory and statutory requirements are met, with accurate record-keeping and adherence to health and safety protocols.
4. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a point of contact for families, healthcare professionals, and external visitors, fostering strong relationships.
5. Operational Management: Oversee inventory, manage staffing levels, coordinate with suppliers, and monitor home maintenance to create a safe and welcoming environment.
What We Are Looking For:
1. Experience: Proven leadership experience in a care home or nursing setting.
2. Communication Skills: Strong communication and relationship-building skills to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
3. Compliance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of care planning, regulatory standards, and safety compliance.
4. Leadership Skills: Hands-on, proactive approach to managing daily operations and guiding a multidisciplinary team.
5. Professionalism: Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion.
