Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Chemist to join our team. This role plays a vital part in our operations, performing critical laboratory testing to support the oil and gas industry. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will ensure the accuracy, reliability, and timely delivery of results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct routine and specialised testing on oil, gas, and related products in accordance with industry standards.
* Interpret and validate test results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
* Operate and maintain laboratory equipment to support testing activities.
* Collaborate with the wider laboratory team to ensure smooth operations and meet tight deadlines.
* Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all testing activities.
Qualifications
* A degree in Chemistry or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Previous laboratory experience, preferably within the oil and gas sector, is beneficial but not essential.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to work on a rotating shift pattern, including nights and weekends.
* Driving license for use in the UK.
