National Business Development Manager – Fitness Equipment (Hospitality focussed)
£35k basic salary plus car allowance and strong OTE (uncapped)
Our client offers a huge range of state-of-the-art fitness equipment and work on a multitude of projects with some of the best brands in fitness and have a huge global footprint! They have a fantastic culture and reputation in the industry and we are now looking for a National Business Development Manager to head up their hospitality division. As National Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and enhancing the presence in the hospitality fitness and wellness market. You will leverage your hospitality expertise to elevate customer experience, ensuring that our fitness offerings align with high-end service standards. This role is perfect for a sales-driven professional with a passion for fitness and a track record of success in business growth within hospitality-focused environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive revenue growth and expand market share
* Identify and engage potential partners, including hotels, wellness resorts, corporate wellness programs, and high-end fitness clubs
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including gym operators, hospitality businesses, and corporate clients
* Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create compelling proposals and pitches that align with brand values
* Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in fitness, wellness, and hospitality
* Lead negotiations and secure partnerships that drive profitability and long-term business sustainability
* Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate leads
About you:
* Proven experience in a business development, sales, or partnership role within the fitness, hospitality, or wellness sectors (hospitality sales background highly preferred)
* Strong understanding of hospitality-driven customer experience and its application in the fitness industry
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business strategies that drive revenue and growth
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on market trends.
* Strong organisational and project management skills
* A passion for fitness, wellness, and creating exceptional customer experiences.
