Ashley Kate HR are recruiting for a HR Advisor role based in Birmingham to join a friendly HR team.
Based onsite Monday - Friday, the role will pay £30-£34,000 based on experience.
A driving licence is required as there may be some travel across the country to support ER cases.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you must be an experienced HR Advisor who has covered the full employee lifecycle from HR administration to recruitment, coaching managers on performance management, and being the first point of contact for employee relations.
HR Generalist - About the Role
* You will be chairing and advising on ER cases from start to finish on varied cases and complexities.
* You will be involved in updating the HRIS and must be a confident user of Excel in order to provide senior stakeholders with MI in relation to people.
* Advise employees and line managers on all HR-related queries and be confident in holding ER-related meetings.
* You will be confident in delivering outcomes of all ER-related cases in meetings, face to face, and issuing letters.
* Lead meetings from investigations to return to work.
* Support in updating and revising company policies and procedures.
* You will be heavily involved in recruitment activities from pulling together and posting job adverts to sifting CVs and initial screening calls where needed. Alongside this, you will work closely with managers identifying talent needs for their departments.
* On top of providing a generalist advisory service, you will also be involved in transactional HR activity such as updating payroll information, typing up letters, and updating contracts and other employee information.
* Involvement in redundancies.
HR Generalist - About You
* Must have strong Microsoft Excel experience, particularly with macros, formulas, and data.
* Previous experience working as a HR generalist or advisor role.
* Have experience with the full employee lifecycle for recruitment and selection.
* You must be well-organised and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment with the confidence to influence stakeholders and a think-outside-of-the-box approach.
* Must have strong up-to-date knowledge of all HR legislation.
* You must be happy to be onsite with the client as there is no hybrid or remote working for this role.
