Are you a psychology graduate or someone with a passion for supporting young people with additional needs? If so, we are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work with secondary-aged pupils in a SEN School in Greenwich.
Role Overview:
* Supporting pupils with ASD and SEMH, focusing on emotional regulation and communication.
* Behaviour is more emotional rather than physical, so resilience and empathy are key.
* Working 1:1 and in small groups to help students build confidence and develop coping strategies.
* Assisting with tailored interventions to support communication, behaviour, and learning progress.
* Collaborating with teachers and therapists to create a nurturing and structured environment.
We're looking for:
* A psychology graduate or someone with a strong interest in child development and mental health.
* Understanding of developmental needs and strategies to best support them.
* A patient, proactive, and emotionally intelligent individual.
* Someone passionate about helping students build emotional resilience and independence.
* Previous experience with SEN or SEMH is beneficial but not essential.
* An Enhanced DBS (child and adult) or be willing to apply for one.
