As a Trainee Project Manager, you will gain a holistic understanding of a bridge replacement project in Clifton, Penrith, Cumbria on the West Coast Mainline over the M6 Motorway through a variety of experiences with different teams such as project delivery, commercial, and engineering.
What you’ll do:
* Develop an understanding of project management techniques which promote collaboration, synergy, and outperformance to deliver against our overall goals and objectives.
* Lead a variety of projects across different teams whilst honing your stakeholder engagement and management techniques.
* Use theory and innovative techniques underpinned by data and evidence, suggesting new ways of working/approaching work.
* Be accountable for your own development by working outside of natural comfort zones and learning from mistakes.
* Utilise your presence in different teams to share knowledge and create efficiencies where possible.
What you'll bring to the role:
* 3 A-levels at Grade A - C, BTEC Extended National Diploma or equivalent level 3 qualification.
* 5 GCSEs at Grades 5-9 including Maths, English, and Science or their equivalent.
* Enjoy working with other people.
* Enthusiasm to learn.
* Interest in construction or engineering.
What qualification will you be studying towards?
Degree Apprenticeship in Project Management at a local University to the project on a weekly or block release basis.
