The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting exclusively for a Senior Engineer - Interiors, who is experienced in using CAD (Catia V5) at a high level. Multi-skilled engineers are encouraged to apply to work across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities
1. Manage and follow the quality, health, safety, and welfare policies of the company.
2. Supply design/project support to the Lead Design Engineer in a multi-disciplined design team.
3. Lead and instruct Design Engineers in the company and customer-defined design procedures.
4. Support Graduates and Design Engineers with CAD skills and sound design principles to enable them to meet project-defined targets.
5. Undertake projects and tasks to complete supported by junior colleagues.
6. Support the Lead Design Engineer to meet programme/project targets and interface with suppliers and customers.
7. Liaise with CAE engineers.
8. Apply design and manufacturing techniques to ensure they can support assigned projects.
Essential Skills
1. HNC / Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject.
2. Experience of design engineering within Interiors is essential.
3. Strong ability to use Catia V5 along with Microsoft packages.
4. Relevant experience in an Automotive Engineering Discipline (e.g., Interiors/Exteriors, BIW, Tooling, or Mechanisms). Other experience will be considered depending on technical knowledge and relevant experience.
5. Ability to work to instruction and integrate into a successful design team.
6. Willingness to work overtime when required to meet deadlines; travel to customer sites and work in co-located teams may be necessary.
7. Ability to work efficiently within your role.
8. Excellent communication skills.

12. Positive attitude towards mastering challenges and changes.
13. Must have IDLR/Full Rights to Work in the UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/provided.
Desirable Skills
1. Working knowledge of GD&T and DFMEA process.
2. Launch support experience including relevant OEM procedures.
3. Innovative in design and a good communicator.
