The post holder will join the existing team of Consultant Physicians in Acute Medicine providing specialist service and GIM ward cover on Keats and Wakeley ward. The successful applicant will be encouraged to engage and participate in the department’s research projects, Audits, and departmental governance The post holder will be expected to participate in ward round in Acute Medicine, with a consultant. They need to supervise junior doctors and teach them during the ward round. He/she will be able to independently see patients, formulate appropriate management plans and liaise with the AEC consultant if needed.
