Stores Operative - Aviation

Our customer is a unique concept in private aviation, delivering a fully-managed solution, which controls all elements of investing in and owning a private jet or helicopter. Located in the heart of stunning Oxfordshire, they are seeking to hire experienced Aviation Stores Operatives to join an existing team.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong previous stores qualities & experience, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Daily tasks will include:
* Unloading and receiving of deliveries
* QA inspection of all goods prior to receipt or dispatch
* GRN incoming goods and record onto an inventory management IT system
* Inspection of documentation and certification ensuring fit for purpose
* Perpetual inventory management through FIFO and stock counting
* Picking, packing and dispatching of goods
* Delivery and collection of goods and tools using a company vehicle
* Maintain inventory levels, procurement of goods and determining the best prices and lead times
* Booking company tools in and out of stores, scheduling and sending tools for calibration/maintenance
* Managing and disposing of hazardous, obsolete and BER stock including general waste items
* Maintaining accurate records whilst complying with regulatory requirements where necessary
* Managing cores to be returned to suppliers in a timely manner
* Raising Repair orders
* Arranging the collection of parts from suppliers to fulfil AOG requests
* Purchasing consumable stock
* Any additional tasks as deemed reasonable by a Senior Manager
Previous Aviation stores experience is essential for this role.
Attractive salary and benefits accompany this position. Hours are 08:00-16:00 and 09:30-15:50 Monday to Friday, with a rota based on call Saturday.
