We are looking for an exceptional nurse with a proven track record of delivering service improvements to provide leadership to support the delivery of our quality and safety agenda.
You will work in partnership with the Matrons and Teams to lead on specific work streams associated with quality and safety improvements.
You will facilitate the development of high-quality clinical practice across the service by providing visible, professional & clinical leadership.
You will ensure that robust and sustainable processes are in place which promote organisational learning within all staff groups to ensure the highest quality, evidenced based care is provided and continuous improvement is achieved.
You will be required to demonstrate effective & sustainable leadership skills. Excellent communication, a strong collaborative approach & the ability to engage the nursing workforce within an ever-challenging environment is essential.
You will confidently deliver on priorities/projects, understanding how the Care groups quality vision fits within the Trust's strategic plans.
You should be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and have extensive and broad ranging experience.
Main duties of the job
The Quality Matron will facilitate the development of high-quality clinical practice across the service by providing visible, professional and clinical leadership.
The post holder will work across the Community Wellbeing and Mental Health Care group.
The post holder will be responsible for:
* Working with key stakeholders to create a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
* Being professionally responsible for the delivery of a high-quality safe service for children and young people, their families, and carers.
* Maintaining all nursing and clinical care standards, taking shared responsibility with relevant leads for all aspects of the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) and Patient and Carer Race Equality Framework (PCREF).

Qualifications and Training
Essential
* Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration
* Teaching qualification or equivalent experience
* CAMHS nursing experience at Band 7 or above
Desirable
* Recognised leadership course of programme
* Educated to Master's level or equivalent experience

* Experience or proven track record in leading the delivery of project management that has improved quality standards
* Experience of leading by example to motivate and empower individuals and teams
* Experience of managing clinical teams including performance management, appraisals and development planning
* Experience of implementing service improvement projects
* Experience of monitoring and measuring service quality
* Experience of effective risk management within a service
* Evidence of working with others to develop and deliver services

* Research experience
* Knowledge of developing and implementing systems to monitor nursing standards

* Demonstrates excellent communication skills including face to face presentations and report writing
