Role Overview
Reporting directly to the CEO, the HR Director will be responsible for ensuring that FINVISE operates efficiently, lawfully, and with full accountability. This role goes beyond traditional HR functions—it involves tracking KPIs, OKRs, and Balanced Scorecards at all levels, including the founders, monitoring day-to-day operations, and ensuring that all meetings, decision-making processes, and business activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
This is an opportunity to establish a high-performing HR and governance function in a fast-growing, AI-driven FinTech company.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR and Business Operations Leadership
• Work closely with the CEO to align HR strategies with business objectives
• Ensure that FINVISE team operates with full transparency, accountability, and compliance across all people and business-related matters
• Foster a high-performance culture with a strong focus on compliance and operational excellence
• Oversee organisational governance, ensuring meetings, decisions, and business operations adhere to legal and regulatory requirements
• Act as a trusted adviser to the founding team and senior leadership on people, compliance, and operational risks
2. Performance Monitoring and Compliance-Driven Governance
• Develop and implement KPI, OKR, and Balanced Scorecard frameworks to track performance across the organisation, including the founders and leadership team
• Monitor day-to-day business operations, ensuring all activities align with company policies, employment laws, and RICS regulation
• Ensure that company meetings—including executive, board, and departmental meetings—are conducted in full compliance with legal, HR, and corporate governance standards
• Establish performance tracking mechanisms that provide real-time visibility into individual and team contributions
• Lead structured Performance Development Plans (PDPs) to support continuous professional growth and accountability
3. Talent Acquisition, Retention and Leadership Development
• Develop and manage a high-impact recruitment strategy to attract top talent in AI, FinTech, and property valuation
• Lead the full employee lifecycle, including conducting interviews, overseeing seamless onboarding experiences, and managing offboarding processes with professionalism and care.
• Implement hiring best practices that prioritise compliance, diversity, and long-term business alignment
• Establish a leadership development framework, ensuring managers and executives receive continuous coaching, feedback, and upskilling
• Drive succession planning and organisational structure improvements to support business growth
• Optimise employee retention through career progression frameworks, competitive compensation models, and strong engagement initiatives
4. Culture, Compliance and Employee Engagement
• Promote FINVISE’s culture, ensuring that company values drive decision-making, behaviour, and performance
• Develop structured employee engagement programmes that reinforce accountability, compliance, and innovation
• Establish employee feedback mechanisms such as engagement surveys, town halls, and structured reviews to drive continuous improvement
• Oversee employee relations, ensuring that conflicts are managed professionally, lawfully, and in accordance with corporate policies
• Develop and enforce HR policies that comply fully with UK employment law and industry regulations
5. HR Operations, Compliance and Governance
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, industry regulations (RICS), and corporate governance best practices
• Oversee HR analytics and workforce reporting, providing data-driven insights to the CEO and executive team
• Implement HR technology solutions to automate and enhance HR processes
• Maintain clear governance structures, ensuring internal policies, processes, and meeting structures adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular HR audits to assess legal compliance, risk exposure, and business efficiency
What We’re Looking For
1. Extensive experience (Min. 7+ years) in HR leadership, ideally within a high-growth FinTech, AI, or Property Technology (PropTech) corporate
2. Strong expertise in governance, employment law, corporate compliance, and industry regulations (RICS)
3. Proven experience implementing KPI, OKR, and Balanced Scorecard frameworks to drive performance and accountability
4. Ability to partner with founders and senior leadership to implement strategic people initiatives and ensure operational compliance
5. High attention to detail with the ability to monitor daily operations and ensure lawful execution of meetings and business processes
6. Experience using HR analytics, workforce tracking tools, and AI-driven HR solutions
7. Passion for building a high-performance, compliance-focused culture
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
9. Ability to multi-task, organise, and prioritise work
