About the Company
ATA is working with Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK at their world-class manufacturing facility in Burnaston, Derbyshire. We are supporting them on a recruitment drive to add an experienced mechanical engineer to their growing team. The UK arm is a critical part of the company and currently operates as their flagship site in Europe, accounting for an impressive £3B of the group's £210B annual turnover.

About the Role
The mechanical engineer will join TMUK's facilities division, responsible for all onsite infrastructure, including buildings, lighting, heating, waste management systems, and electricity distribution.
As a Facilities Engineer, you will work on valuable projects to replace and improve equipment to meet Toyota's group energy targets and legal compliance requirements.
Other Responsibilities Include:
* Working alongside the onsite facilities maintenance team
* Managing external contractors
* Project management from conception to completion
* Supporting CO2 & energy reduction efforts
* Managing contracts for safety and legislative areas such as gas, fire, pressure vessels, and lifting equipment
About You
To be considered for this mechanical engineer role, you should have:
* Experience working within a high-volume manufacturing environment (desirable)
* Previous experience in a facilities environment (beneficial)
* Technical understanding of pumps and motors (beneficial)
* Evidence of new equipment installation
* A mindset for continuous improvement
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Project management capability
* Full right to work in the UK and hold a UK driving license
This role would suit someone who has completed an engineering degree in any discipline.
