SEN Teaching Assistant | High Peak, SK23 | £95 - £105 per day | Mon - Fri, 8:30 - 16:30 | ASAP Start Are you a passionate and enthusiastic teaching assistant with experience supporting SEN learners? Long-term futures are proudly working with a specialist primary and secondary school in High Peak (SK23), supporting children with autism and associated social and communication needs. In this role, you will work closely with learners in 1:1 or small group settings, helping to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where everyone feels safe and supported. Due to the location of this role, it would be advantageous to have access to your own vehicle to reliably commute. What does the school offer? Provide support to students in small groups or one-to-one Look after children's physical, social, and emotional welfare Watch, record, and report the progress students makeHow can I be successful? You'll have previous experience supporting young children in classroom environments. Ideally, you'll have experience working directly with young children with autism, along with managing their associated needs and/or difficulties they may face.
