Role Overview:
As the Procurement Lead, you'll be at the forefront of managing complex procurement categories across various business functions. You'll drive impactful category strategies, collaborate with a dynamic team, and ensure our third-party supply base in Atlanta operates efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with business needs.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
1. Drive Value and Strategy: Develop and implement category strategies that maximize value for money, continuously improving processes while aligning with our strategic business goals.
2. Supplier Management: Ensure compliance with FCA and ICO requirements during supplier onboarding, and maintain strong, transparent relationships with all suppliers to achieve optimal cost benefits.
3. Collaborative Synergy: Leverage group-wide resources to create sourcing strategies that unlock synergy cost benefits across all entities.
4. Contract Management: Oversee the timely loading and renewal of all Atlanta contracts in our Atamis database, ensuring seamless management and documentation.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture effective working relationships with senior stakeholders to proactively address issues, mitigate risks, and drive key decisions.
6. Benchmarking and Data Analysis: Establish benchmarks, monitor cost movements, and provide data-driven insights to drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
7. Support Growth: Be a key player in supporting new business acquisitions, aligning related contract synergies and ensuring procurement practices are in place for new sites.
8. Ongoing Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to enhance procurement processes, improve compliance, and reduce costs across the business.

1. Experience in account management within the insurance sector.
