We are looking to recruit up to 3 special people to be part of our Midday Supervisor team at Fairford C of E Primary School.
The roles are either in our main school or in our nursery and pre-school provision for a minimum of 1.25 hours a day 11.45 – 1.00 Monday – Friday.
Each Midday Supervisor needs to be skilled in supporting both lunch and play activities. Lunchtimes at school are not only an opportunity to eat lunch but also importantly, an opportunity to socialise and play with friends. For some children, a large playground can be daunting, and they find it tricky at times to navigate that space. A supportive, friendly, and understanding adult can make all the difference to a positive or less positive lunchtime.
If you think you have the right skill set to offer our children, then please get in touch to discuss the role further. The post is available to start immediately.
If you are interested in applying, you must complete the standard GCC application form which can be found via this link or a paper copy obtained from the school office or via a request for the application pack on careers@fairford.gloucs.sch.uk. CVs are not acceptable.
All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and other medical and safeguarding checks prior to appointment.
Note: The school will carry out online searches of shortlisted candidates to help identify any incidents or issues which may need to be explored at interview. Shortlisted candidates will also be required to complete a self-declaration on their criminal record or information that would make them unsuitable to work with children. Any successful applicant will have to demonstrate the right to work in the UK. If the successful applicant has lived or worked outside of the UK for a period of more than 6 months within the last 10 years, they will be required to provide a police check (Certificate of Good Conduct) from that country to cover that period.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share the same commitment. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
