An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior International Employment Associate to join a highly regarded legal practice specialising within the international employment law field. This is a unique role focused on cross-border employment matters, supporting a prestigious client base of UK and multinational businesses.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will work within a dynamic Employment Law practice, handling a wide range of international mobility and strategic employment matters. You will:
* Advise clients on regarding international employment law issues across a global remit
* Regularly advise on multi-jurisdictional queries and cross border issues
* Co-ordinate with Co-Counsel across international locations regarding complex international employment cases
* Supervise and mentor junior associates, trainees, and paralegals.
* Support business development efforts to enhance client relationships and expand the practice’s reach.
Key Skills and Experience
* 5+ years’ PQE with a background in a top-ranked employment law team.
* Strong expertise in international employment law
* Comprehensive understanding of employment legislation, coupled with excellent analytical skills.
* Previous experience on advising regarding multi-jurisdictional employment queries including cross-border advice would be highly advantageous
* Exposure of working with Employer of Record organisations is also beneficial
* Commercial acumen and client-first approach.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team and mentor junior colleagues.
