South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to employ an enthusiastic and motivated doctor for this Resident Trust Specialist (SHO Tier) fixed term post for 12 months specialising in Paediatric & Neonates Medicine.
Main Duties of the Job
THE PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS OF THE POST WILL BE:
1. To support the inpatient service in Paediatrics and Neonates at Warwick Hospital. Will have opportunity to sit in and observe clinics within the specialty.
Job Responsibilities
The post holder will be expected to work in a shift pattern providing cover for McGregor ward/SCBU involving working Long days (09:00-21:30), Short days (09:00-17:00), Late shifts (15:00-23:00), and Nights (21:00-09:30). The successful applicant will work within the team, with the junior doctors and consultants, and is expected to supervise the junior staff and institute immediate clinical and ongoing care for the patients on the ward.
