Job summary An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join the respiratory, critical care and surgery inpatient physiotherapy team. This post is a permanent post fixed term cover Band 6 static physio 37,5 hours within the team based at St Peter's Hospital.(Fixed Term) There is excellent multi-disciplinary working with the respiratory and critical care teams where you will be involved in complex respiratory patients including complex NIV and invasive ventilation weaning and complex respiratory patients' management including tracheostomy care, COPD and other respiratory conditions. You will be expected to support and supervise the Band 5's and therapy assistants with the support of the Band 7 physiotherapy team lead. They will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality care and improved outcomes for patients. The successful candidate will have the ability to use their initiative, deputise in the absence of the band 7 and be an effective team worker with sound organisational abilities.
