Role Information
We are looking for a Head of Academies to support our Northern Hair & Beauty Academies across the Midlands, North West, Yorkshire & North East. The ideal candidate will be located in this geographical area and be comfortable with travel to support academy managers.
As the Head of Academies - Hair & Beauty, you will be an expert in hair or beauty and will impart your knowledge and experience to our tutors to ensure our learners receive an outstanding teaching experience. You will possess strong leadership qualities and business knowledge to lead and grow the provision, along with the following important qualities:

Duties
* Contribute to our strategic development plan for growth within our Academies.
* Implement the strategic development plan to grow the Academy provision in key sectors.
* Identify and implement ongoing changes to delivery and employer relationships for various programmes.
* Monitor and manage learner recruitment, success, and progression in line with budgeted revenue requirements.
* Ensure cost-effective delivery with monitoring and management of budgeted expenditure.
* Manage daily/weekly/monthly reporting of KPI’s and develop associated documentation for the learner journey.
* Liaise with the MIS team to produce KPI reports and analyses.
* Develop and manage Academy staff to maintain high delivery standards.
* Effectively manage team performance and underperformance.
* Develop, review, and revise curriculum delivery materials.
* Build strong networks with employers and funding agencies.
* Contribute to research for new areas of employer need and new products.
* Support the development of a marketing strategy for growth in Academies delivery.
* Liaise with delivery teams regarding contract requirements.
* Respond to changes in relevant funding models.
* Promote our Academies brand to schools, parents, young people, and businesses.
* Work collaboratively with our Quality team to monitor and manage Academy provision.
* Develop the Academies Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
* Implement and comply with the Company’s policies.
* Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
* Undertake professional development activities for staff.
* Provide support and guidance to learners, customers, and colleagues.
Experience
* Management experience within the education/training sector.
* Management of a Hair, Beauty, or Barbering salon environment.
* Experience managing large teams, working independently and remotely.
* Occupational experience in the Hair/Beauty industry.
Knowledge & Skills
* Excellent people management skills, coaching, and mentoring.
* Strong team working ethics and empowering people.
* Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
* Experience working towards budgets.
* Excellent knowledge of P&L and identifying areas for improvement.
* Knowledge of Safeguarding procedures.
Qualifications
* Minimum of GCSE Grade in Maths & English.
* Recognised Teaching & Assessing qualifications.
