Each one of our service users are different and their support goals are personalised to them. Adaptability is at the core of who we are as a service, respecting that each client is an individual is the key to success Now, there may be some reoccurring themes such as support with daily household task like preparing meals, keeping their home tidy, shopping or supporting with medication and accessing the community. But along with our clients our ambitions aim to be far beyond that allowing them to grow. This role is for our team based in the Towcester area, the majority of the support will focus on a small number of individuals who really enjoy being out. Getting involved in social and leisure activities such as meals out with peers or sporting interest like swimming, badminton and football. The options are almost endless and we are looking for individuals with a drive to make a difference and seek new opportunities for our service users to make the most out of their support and strive to reach their individual goals. A proactive attitude and positive outlook on support will take you most of the way There are some essential criteria for this role such as having full driving licence and access to your own vehicle with business insurance. Experience with Autism and learning disabilities are essential and an understanding of different communication resources and methods. Our training programs incorporate full support using a mixture in-person and online training with options to explore further with NVQ's in health and social care at various levels. All of our team will need to go through a number of pre employment checks including comprehensive work history, criminal records and barring lists.
