As an IT apprentice, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for providing IT support for hardware, software, and network issues, password resets, user set-ups, and more. This will give you the chance to work in a varied role, gaining experience from industry professionals to kick-start your career in IT.

St Aidan's Catholic Academy, Willow Bank Rd, Sunderland SR2 7HJ
In this role, you’ll work towards your IT Support Technician Level 3 apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
* Provide day-to-day helpdesk support by responding to user inquiries, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and documenting solutions.
* Work on server management tasks including configuring, installing, and maintaining server hardware and software, and resolving server-related issues.
* Perform data center work by managing and maintaining data center infrastructure, monitoring operations, implementing security measures, and conducting data backups.
* Serve as an IT Helpdesk resource, assisting users with password resets, account setups, and access management.
* Fix computers, iPad, and G-Suite related issues by diagnosing problems and implementing appropriate solutions.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
* Car mileage allowance for drivers with business insurance.
* Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:00, Friday 08:00 – 15:30.
