The UK Engineering Manager's role is to organise and coordinate the engineering and laboratory team and projects of SEC UK according to the Company's development strategy and market needs.
Responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring that the Company's Development Projects are well managed and meet all required objectives.
2. Supporting business development through technical expertise and customer lobbying.
3. Ensuring close collaboration and technical exchange with SEC division's managers (France, US, and Canada) and their Engineering teams.
4. Supporting production and purchasing projects to improve product performance.
5. Developing new concepts and products according to the BU Technology Road Map.
6. Ensuring connection and relationship within the Group and promoting SEC division know-how.
7. Managing the Company's New Product Introduction Process.
8. Defining the budget, resources, and their allocation through the projects according to strategy and market needs.
9. Ensuring the competencies progress of the team and the associated training plan.
10. Ensuring the deployment and application of engineering methods and processes in line with other SEC engineering departments.
11. Supporting R&T activities led by the EU R&T manager and developing internal and external partnerships (Laboratory, university, etc.), including funded projects.
12. Ensuring KPI follow-up and reporting to top management.

* Ability to motivate and challenge the team to reach objectives.
* Animation of the Engineering and lab department.
* Participate fully in the Company's HSE programmes and ensure adherence to the Company's HSE rules and procedures.
