CNC Operator Due to expansion of their machine shop, Phoenix Tavinor Engineering is looking to hire a CNC machine operator. The job role consists of mainly the following: Loading/unloading raw cast iron parts to machine fixtures. Deburring parts to remove sharp edges. Gauging parts using basic attribute gauges (Go/NoGo) Packing parts to correct specification. Working hours are Mon-Fri 05:45 – 14:00 with 10min paid break and 15min unpaid break 40 paid hrs. This is a permanent role, and they need a reliable individual. Excellent timekeeping and attendance are critical in a manufacturing environment. Full training will be provided. They offer 31 days holiday per year and uniform to be provided on completion of probationary period. Requirement: Good English and numeracy skills with attention to detail. Previous experience would be advantageous but not essential. Ability to work in a team and follow instructions accurately and consistently. Starting rate is £11.44/hr rising to £12.21 in April
