We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Medicines Optimisation Programme Support Officer to join the well-established Medicines Optimisation Team in NHS Devon.
As a Medicines Optimisation Programme Support Officer, you will help set up and maintain a system to manage programme information. You will support meetings with programme and project leads, providing the information needed to ensure they progress as planned. Your role will include day-to-day support for workstreams, managing project documents, and training others on project management tools. You will assist the Senior Medicines Optimisation Programme Specialist with reporting and managing programmes, working closely with the ICB Programme Management Office. You will also support the Senior Medicines Optimisation Project Officer with risk management and department returns, and work with the Senior Medicines Optimisation Information Specialist to track the financial impact of projects. In this role, your contributions will directly influence patient care and healthcare delivery in Devon. Main duties of the job
* Support the Medicines Optimisation Programme function to ensure appropriate monitoring and management of System Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation programmes, including ICB Medicines Optimisation programmes and ICS programmes where appropriate.
* Support implementation and maintenance of a programme management system to ensure information is efficiently and correctly collated, managed and analysed.
* Provide support to regular meetings with programme and project leads within the medicines optimisation workstreams, including provision of programme management information, to ensure delivery is in the line with the workstream plan.
* Provide day-to-day support to workstreams, including inputting and collation of relevant information, in order to ensure delivery.
* Provide maintenance of and training on relevant project and programme management tools, and ensuring project documentation is kept up-to-date.
* Support the Senior Medicines Optimisation Programme Specialist to work with the ICB Programme Management Office on reporting and management of relevant programmes, including provision of project monitoring information.
* Support the Senior Medicines Optimisation Project Officer to ensure appropriate risk management, other requirements (such as QEIA), Information Assets, and all department returns as appropriate are completed and reported.
* Work with the Senior Medicines Optimisation Information Specialist to ensure financial impact of projects are appropriately captured.

Qualifications
* Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience.
Experience
* Significant administrative or relevant experience including initiating and maintaining office systems.
* Experience in dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
* Knowledge or experience of minute taking or note taking skills.
* Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Project on the Web or similar tools.
* Knowledge of NHS issues.
* Understanding of Data Protection Act.
Skills
* Clear communicator with excellent writing, data entry and presentation skills: capable of constructing and delivering clear information/instructions to staff and service users.
