What will my role look like? As an Accounts Assistant, you will be working alongside the accounts department, supporting with day to day tasks surrounding payroll and relevant administration. Monday to Friday : 8:30 – 4:30 Your duties will include: Maintain accurate financial records by supporting with the maintenance of the sales/purchase ledger Prepare and monitor reports for management review on a weekly and monthly basis Complete online customer purchasing portals Taking corporate card payments Weekly sales ledger balancing Recording and resolving queries promptly to retrieve payments Opening new customer accounts in line with company policy Ensuring customer accounts and invoices have the necessary detail and supporting documents to ensure prompt payment Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Ensure company policies and procedures are followed Providing support to your accounts colleagues and demonstrating flexibility Ensuring all invoice queries are resolved by liaising with your colleagues in other departments General sales/purchase ledger based filing Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to compliance regulations. To be considered for this role : Proven experience in an accounts role is essential Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage is desirable A good understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively Strong communication skills, both written and verbal To apply for the role of Accounts Assistant, please apply via the button or link shown.
