Our school is a Community Primary School with a Nursery attached. We have a strong and supportive Board of Governors, which includes representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, parents, the local community and staff. We set very high standards across the school and offer a broad range of experiences and opportunities for our pupils.
Our school is fortunate to be located in a lovely rural setting, surrounded by farm land, countryside and the coast. We serve the local village and MOD base at St Athan.

About the role
Pay Details : Grade 1 (Based on 12.16 Hourly Rate)
Hours of Work / Weeks per year / Working Pattern : 1 hour per day = 5 hours weekly / 39 weeks term time

Temporary Reason : Relief ,This may be required at short notice.
Description: St Athan Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Relief Midday Supervisor to work as part of our Team.
This will be for 1 hour every day to support our children at lunch time. We are looking to appoint someone who can work well as part of a team to ensure the children are effectively supervised and assisting in the supervision of children in all areas of the school and grounds, in order that Health and Safety regulations are observed and school policies and procedures are implemented. This may be required at short notice.
The candidate will ensure they work to support children’s well-being, security, safety and good practice in enabling and enriching positive experiences, during the lunch period.
This will involve accompanying children around the school, as necessary and at the appropriate time, to ensure that all children are where they should be according to the lunchtime arrangements;
This the cleaning of tables and the hall following. The candidate will also be expected to be aware of any specific dietary/health requirements.
