Health and Safety Manager
Location: Homebased covering distribution sites in Wrexham, Newark, Wolverhampton, Braintree and Dover
Salary: Circa £50k plus company car or car allowance
A national logistics company is now looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join their team.
Health and Safety Manager - Job Role:
1. Review, maintain and update the companies Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and ensure compliance across the 5 sites
2. Chair H&S Committee meetings
3. Undertake Site Audits and Site Inspections
4. Provide HSE Training and Inductions
5. Conduct Risk Assessments and Method Statements
6. Conduct Accident Investigations
Health and Safety Manager – Person Requirements:
The ideal candidate must come from the Logistics, Distribution or Engineering Industry as a Health and Safety Manager. You will also have the following skills, qualifications or experience:
1. Hold a minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent in Health and Safety
2. Member of IOSH
3. Have a hands-on and engaging approach to health and safety
4. Hold a full UK Driving Licence
5. Experience of managing multiple sites and able to work away from home
