Since 1980, we’ve been at the heart of our community, delivering expert, compassionate end-of-life care. Our shops are more than just retail outlets—they’re hubs of community spirit and fundraising success. With 18 locations and a brilliant team of staff and volunteers, we’re proud to support people when they need us most.
Hours: 15 hours per week (two days a week, which will include working weekends and some bank holidays)
What is the role?
We’re looking for someone proactive, customer-focused, and community-minded to help drive sales, engage our volunteers, and support the day-to-day running of the shop. This is more than just a retail job – it’s a chance to make a real difference locally.
* Support the shop manager in achieving sales targets and delivering a fantastic customer experience
* Help coordinate a team of dedicated volunteers
* Ensure attractive stock displays and merchandising to maximise sales
* Promote Gift Aid donations and manage donations effectively
* Contribute to the development of new promotions and other improvements to retail practice
* Take full responsibility in the Shop Manager’s absence (including occasional full-time cover)
You will need to hold a full driving licence and be flexible to cover other shops in our catchment area when needed.
