Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Derbyshire based client to recruit for a Part Time Purchasing Manager.
The Role
As the company's Purchasing Manager, you will ensure cost-effective and timely purchasing of all materials required for production and any other services as required by the business.
You will also play a key role in optimizing the company's supply chain and the maintaining and building of supplier relationships.
To be considered for this role you must have:
1. Previous purchasing/buying experience of at least 5 years, ideally from a food or chemical manufacturing environment; candidates from other areas of manufacturing will also be considered.
2. Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
3. Good IT skills, particularly in Excel.
