My client, a main contractor with a Water Company, is looking for an M&E Supervisor - Water to work on multiple contracts and be part of their Construction team working out of the Colchester area.

This role involves the individual management of projects from inception to completion. It will be a site-based role requiring regular communication with other members of the delivery team based in the local office.
Working under the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of delivery teams and sub-contractors on site. You will carry out the implementation and monitoring of health, safety, quality, and performance standards, ensuring all work meets required water industry regulations and approved standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Accountable for SHEQ performance of Projects, including undertaking and recording findings of periodic SHEQ visits.
* Eliminating/minimising physical and nonphysical waste - i.e. recycling techniques, workshop recharges, standing time, etc.
* Ensure all site-based personnel hold relevant qualifications and training.
* Accountable for timely completion of multiple concurrent projects, safely and within budget. Attend internal and external review and progress meetings.
* Coordinate and liaise with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors, in-house functions, site installation & construction teams.
* You will be responsible for all Health and Safety issues on site, which includes the completion of paperwork, including weekly safety & environmental inspections, tool-box talks, site-specific risk assessments & method statements.
Ideal person will have:
* Experience in the water industry
* Site Safety Management (SMSTS) or attended 5-day course and CSCS card
* Experience in Civil, M&E/construction industry
