Salary: £20 per hour Hours: Variable Location: Devon Hills Holiday Park TQ4 7PW Job Type: Permanent Job Purpose To plan and provide fitness instruction in aqua classes for customers at the Hive Leisure club. the Aqua Aerobics Instructor will provide adequate aqua aerobics instruction, will monitor and educate participants on fitness and safety, and maintains a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for the class participants. Responsible for care of aqua fitness equipment, stereo and head mic system. Responsible for setting up and setting down of equipment within the time of the class. Ensure Health and Safety of participants participating in the class. To ensure that reasonable care is always taken for the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and other persons and to comply with the policies and procedures relating to health and safety. Instructs participants on effective workout methods; explains proper techniques, demonstrates exercises; identifies different muscle groups, and teaches appropriate methods to strengthen specific muscles Knowledge, Skills & Experience Exercise to music Level 2 Working knowledge of human anatomy Understanding of general health and safety issues Knowledge of Aqua aerobics teaching strategies and the incorporation of music, tempo, cueing technique, and rhythm. Choreography and music skills Ability to be professional and motivate class participants Please note applications are subject to DBS checks.
