Senior Product Manager – Warehouse Automation/Distribution/Fulfilment Systems

The Role
As Senior Product Manager with a strong operations background, you will play a key role in revolutionising how they manage millions of goods annually—from receiving and storage to fulfillment and delivery. You will drive automation, efficiency, and an outstanding user experience, ensuring their warehouse systems evolve into world-class solutions.
This is not a role where you’ll be told what to build—you’ll own the vision, define the strategy, and shape the execution roadmap. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, UX, data, and business leaders, to create real impact for our customers and the business.
The fantastic challenge ahead of you:
Identifying and Managing Opportunities
* Define and drive the product vision and strategy for warehouse automation, fulfillment, and distribution systems.
* Collaborate with operations teams to identify pain points and opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve both colleague and customer experiences.
* Establish and own OKRs (Objectives & Key Results), ensuring alignment with business goals and measurable success.
* Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor advancements to drive continuous innovation.
* Engage proactively with stakeholders to shape strategy, prioritize initiatives, and maintain business alignment.
Product Discovery
* Lead product discovery efforts, working closely with UX, user research, engineering, and business SMEs.
* Translate insights into actionable hypotheses, using data, evidence, and experimentation to determine the right things to build.
* Define user stories, use cases, and user journeys to ensure seamless experiences across our warehouse ecosystem.
* Champion service design, optimizing workflows for automation, efficiency, and scalability.
Product Delivery
* Work with engineering teams to drive efficient product development, balancing speed, quality, and cost.
* Break down work into valuable, iterative releases, ensuring early and continuous impact.
* Define acceptance criteria, prioritise development sprints, and maintain a laser focus on execution.
* Launch and measure product success, iterating based on real-time feedback and performance data.
* Own decision-making: persist, iterate, or pivot based on results.
Product Management Excellence
* Lead by example, fostering a Build-Measure-Learn culture of continuous improvement.
* Stay at the forefront of product management methodologies and best practices, bringing innovation into the company.
* Focus on outcomes over outputs, ensuring that every product decision drives measurable business impact.

You’ll Succeed Here If You Have:
* Extensive product management experience, with a focus on warehouse automation, distribution, or fulfillment systems.
* A strong track record of defining strategy, leading discovery, and delivering products that drive real-world results.
* A deep understanding of dual-track development (discovery & delivery)
* Experience in stakeholder management and facilitation, confidently leading discussions with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
* A user-first mindset, designing solutions that enhance operational workflows and efficiency.
* A data-driven approach, using insights to validate hypotheses and prioritize initiatives.
* A bias for action—you don’t wait for direction; you identify, validate, and execute.
* The ability to balance business needs, technical feasibility, and user experience to drive the best outcomes.
