PS Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking anAccounts Assistant to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a part-time permanent basis. Main Responsibilities : Prepare payroll data weekly and monthly for external accountants and add journal entries on accounting software. Process supplier invoices. Manage invoicing of all customers, statement production and credit control. Petty cash management. Timesheet data entry. Posting bank transactions and bank reconciliation. Month-end adjustments including prepayment and accruals. Month-end preparation of management accounts. General admin and ad-hoc tasks as they arise. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience. Excellent attention to detail. Experience in a similar role. Knowledge of Sage 50. Ability to work to tight deadlines. Use initiative and deal with issues as and when they arise. Demonstrate a professional and courteous attitude at all times. Motivated with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Working hours and Benefits: Up to 15 hours per week, every Monday with flexibility over the rest of the week. Pension scheme. 25 days bank holidays (based on full time).
