We are seeking a Corporate Affairs Senior Officer to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to our Senior Corporate Affairs Manager you will join our global government relations and advocacy team, influencing policy and regulatory frameworks, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders to promote and protect the business.
This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our planned Leamington or Bicester location,. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

Requirements
We would like you to:
* Develop and execute corporate communication strategies:
* Delivering position papers and policy briefs.
* Develop and implement strategic advocacy plans to influence global and domestic policies.
* Stakeholder Engagement:
* Build and maintain relationships with government officials, industry leaders, community stakeholders, and advocacy groups to advance the company’s policy objectives.
* Collaborate with industry and trade associations, NGOs, and other stakeholders to build coalitions and support common goals.
* Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and analyse legislative and regulatory developments impacting the automotive sector, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Legislative Research: Conduct thorough research and analysis on legislative and regulatory issues affecting the automotive sector.
* Internal Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to align company objectives with public policy goals and ensure cohesive advocacy efforts.
We would like you to have:
* Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, business, or related field (preferred)
* E Proven experience in corporate affairs, government affairs, public policy, or a related field, with a focus on the automotive or electric vehicle industry preferred. Experience of global regulatory landscape is a bonus.
* Strong understanding of global legislative and regulatory processes.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and research skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced start-up environment.
* Proficiency in public speaking and delivering presentations.
